Copyright, DMCA & DSA Notices

How to report copyright infringement and illegal content.

Effective Date: July 18, 2026

Interim notice: our DMCA designated agent and DSA point-of-contact details are being finalized and will be published here.

1. Respect for Intellectual Property

MODEL.AT respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. §512) and to notices of illegal content under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA, Regulation 2022/2065).

2. DMCA Takedown Notice (§512(c))

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent containing: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location (URL), sufficient for us to find it; (d) your contact information (address, telephone, email); (e) a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Designated Copyright Agent: our DMCA designated agent is being registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA directory; the agent’s name and registered contact details will be published here once registration completes. In the interim, send copyright notices to legal@model.at and we will act on valid notices.

3. Counter-Notification (§512(g))

If your content was removed and you believe it was misidentified or removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing: (a) your signature; (b) identification of the removed material and its prior location; (c) a statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and (d) your contact information, consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and agreement to accept service of process from the complaining party.

4. Repeat-Infringer Policy (§512(i))

In appropriate circumstances we disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

5. EU DSA Notice-and-Action (Art 16)

Anyone may notify us of content they consider illegal by emailing legal@model.at with: a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is illegal; the exact location (URL); your name and email (except for content relating to certain offences); and a good-faith statement of accuracy. We process valid notices in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary manner and inform you of our decision and available redress.

6. Point of Contact & Trader Information (DSA Art 11/12, 30)

Single point of contact for authorities and users under DSA Art 11/12: legal@model.at; communication is accepted in English (and German where possible). A dedicated point-of-contact address is being finalized and will be confirmed here.

Whether the Platform enables agencies or brands acting as “traders” to conclude distance contracts with consumers — and any resulting trader-traceability obligations under DSA Art 30 — is under assessment and will be updated here once determined. Questions in the interim: legal@model.at.

7. Misrepresentation

Under §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Do not make false claims.
